Booker T. Growled at me.

It is true. He growled. He was digging at a blanket and when I asked him to stop he was quite unhappy. Turns out, he needs to get fixed. He is going to the vet in a couple of weeks.

Here are some photos of him playing in his kitty cat tent. Which he used as a restroom and I had to throw away. Good news, they are only $5 at IKEA, so now he has another.

Hold the Mayo....

I was thinking about a banana phone today and then of course my train of thought went on to the newly popular Hamburger phone. Curious to see the cost of such a luxury item I Googled it. Turns out one can be yours for just $19.95. I love the cautionary advice in the lower left hand corner. As if I could ever devour such an iconic electronic.

"Hold on a sec, I'm on my Hamburger Phone. It's just like really awkward to talk on."

Whats that you say? You aren't into to red meat. Then for you there is the Hot Lips phone.

And for all you drinkers there is the ever satisfying Beer phone.

Bottle or can ?

Preferred by drunk dialers everywhere.

Live the Lush Life

This post is especially for T'ann. One, because I knew immediately she would love this store and two, because she is probably bored at home and this will keep her occupied.

In San Francisco I found a store that is my new Mecca of skin care. Lush. It is a British company that makes fresh hand made cosmetics. All of which are organic. You can smell the different fragrances from a block away. The store reminds me of a farmers market of sorts. Everything is laid out for you to touch, smell, see. Instead of prepackaged items, a Lush rep will cut you off a piece of soap or jelly and wrap it in butcher paper or a small plastic container. Much like the service counter at the deli, but a thousand times better! It seems strange to purchase your cosmetics like you would a pound of turkey, but I loved it! I probably could have bought one of everything. I was really impressed with their facial line. I have really sensitive skin, prone to breakouts so I am usually really hesitant about using anything that isn't recommended by my dermatologist. But I thought I'd give Lush a try. The names of the products were excellent also. They have everything from Emperor of Ice Cream butter cream to Champagne Supernova bath bombs. You cant resist.

I bought the Tea Tree Water Toner

And the Imperialis moisturizer

I love what they have done for my skin. In just a few days it feels wonderful!!!! I decided not to get the cleanser and stick with my Cetaphil. But I think the combination of the three is changing my freakin life!!

Some of my other favorites are the Bubble Bars

Jellies

Bath Bombs

Lush is Booker T. approved. They do not test on animals and are cruelty free. That makes Booker T. very happy.
As Kitty Kwan would say "Enjoy it!!!!"

San Francisco

Jana and I had a great time in San Fran. We shopped and walked and shopped. Our hotel was in the perfect location. We were close to everything. The trolley stopped right in front of our hotel, and there were lots of great shops and restaurants to see. Here are some photos of my favorite places.

The Aquarium
Moon Jellies

Pink Anemones

Fisherman's Wharf

Silly Sea Lions

These are just a few. I will post more in the next few days.

Nothing a Shot in the Butt Won't Fix

So I thought that Wednesday was the worst of this crazy zickness. Turns out it was just getting started. I went to bed Wednesday night with a fever and didnt really sleep well. I woke up at 5 am and hurried to the bathroom because I thought I was going to be sick. Next thing I know I wake up laying on my bedroom floor on top of a box. My fever was so high that I passed out and smashed Bookers favorite box with my big butt. Never having fainted before I was a little freaked out so I did what any 23 year old girl would do, call her mom. Thankfully she was able to some right down and take care of me. I was really sick all day long and finally at 4:30 was able to get to the doctor. Turns out I did have strep (SHOVE IT INSTACARE !! Thanks for nothing!)and the flu. the doctor gave me a penicillin shot in my butt. While she was injecting the medicine she flew into a wild coughing fit, which was really uncomfortable for me. I then proceeded to barf in the exam room trash can and be on my way.

The rest of Thursday is pretty much a blur. When you have a temperature of 103 you dont really have a grasp on reality. But today I am feelin much much better!

Gurgle Gurgle Spit.....repeat

That has pretty much been my routine for this afternoon. My super sore throat is ruining my life. It feels like a vice is griping my neck.I feel like CRAP!!!! I have been feeling sick the last few days but felt great last night so I though today would be better. WRONG! Today was the worst day yet! I was ok this morning, but at about 2 I just couldn't take it anymore. Thank goodness I have a super nice boss who lets me go home.

Yesterday I woke up with a fever and after talking to my mom decided to go to the Doc. Well after spending three hours at the InstaCare the doctor let me know I just have a "cold" and to drink fluids and rest.

As I was about to leave the Instacare the car wouldnt start!! I popped the hood to investigate, but couldn't get the latch to release. Thankfully a nice German couple helped me. I jiggled the battery cable and it started right up.

As of today I have completey lost my voice and I am refraining from speaking because it hurts to much.

I have spent most of the today in bed watching random daytime tv. But now Big Brother is on so at least I have something fun to watch and American Idol is also something to look forward to. Booker is not such a great bed side nurse. He would rather zip around the house than snuggle with me. Oh well, so goes the way of the bunn.

Only two more days until Leslie Hall!!!
See what you are missing:

Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day

I saw this at the Broadway last week and loved it! The clothes were awesome, the plot was fun, it was a great movie. I am still confused as to why it is only playing at the Broadway because it is a mainstream movie. But the Broadway could use the money.

Peace Out Girl Scout!!!

Spring is here and so are those brats and their cookies. Just kidding. I love Girl Scouts. I was one, for about five minutes. I quit because our troop was poor. We had to make a sewing project, but we couldn't afford needles so they made us wrap the yarn with tape. Apparently we weren't very good at selling cookies.

Anyhow, to celebrate this momentus occasion I bought some of my favorites. Tagalongs, the delicious chocolate peanut butter tasties;Samoa's, I am a sucker for their cocoutty delicousness;Thin Mints, the classic of all Girl Scout cookies. Those kids made $10 bucks off me. Those Boy Scouts should quit tying knots and building fires and get in on this!! Cause Scout A Rama isn't edible.

Kanye West takes over the Happy Hands Club

Shove em up your nose, Hang em on your wall.

I have always loved Pussy Willows. Ever since I was a little kid. I loved them so much, when I was 4 I shoved 8 of them up my nose. They are so soft! Can you even blame me. My mom had to take me to the doctor to have them removed. I clearly remember sitting cross-legged in my grandmas front yard picking each individual puff off the bush, rubbing it on my cheeks and then shoving it up my nose. Well now that I am older, I want to keep them a part of my life. I found this great peice of art at Ikea.
I am painting our bedroom, and this will hang above our bed. I think it will give a soft cuddly nasal passage feeling.

Shop me home mamma!!!

I found a new site that I lurve!! ShopSCAD
I love this bird wallet. Have I mentioned my new affinity for all things bird.

I am also a fan of this cute bangle.

Although I am not a hot fan of the price. It seems a little spendy at $335.00

And who wouldn't love this Napoleon Dynamite-esk greeting card.
