I could probably try a little harder

I mean a blog a week wouldn't kill me. There's been a lot going on lately. Here is a quick run down.

I'm settling into 25 nicely. I mean, I guess I have come to terms with the fact that I'm half way to 50 and only 5 years away from 30. Ugh. It's tough getting older.

I went to Vegas with Katch and Jana. It was pretty much the best trip ever. We had a great time. Cris Angel freaked our minds with his Cirque show "Believe." I liked it because it was all about rabbits. The sad part is that the highlight of the show was when Cris Angel got cut in half with a chain saw. I'm not gonna sugar coat it. It was BAD. Apparently Perez Hilton, who was in the audience, had been Twittering the whole time about how awful the show was. Someone told Cris Angel who, at the end of the show, called out Perez and screamed "Perez Hilton is the biggest Douche Bag A-Hole in the WOOOOORRRRRRRRRRLLLLLLLLLLDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!". Real classy Cris Angel. Shoooooot.

We also saw Elton John at Ceasar's Palace. BEST SHOW OF MY LIFE. He is so talented and really funny. He played all the hits and I loved his stage set up. He had a bunch of old Vegas neon signs and some really great blow up props. Just after the show started Katchie noticed a familiar face sitting a few rows behind us: Greg Brady. He caught her attention because he was air drumming to "Bennie and the Jets". Turns out we had better seats than Greg Brady. He was sitting three rows behind us. No one even recognized him. I felt really bad for him. I felt like I should have made some screaming girl frenzy to bolster his spirits, but in the end I decided not to. He made out with Marcia, he had his hay day.

The running is going well. My half marathon is in two weeks and I feel ready. I am up to 10 miles and feel like I can push it the last three. Now I just need to make sure I don't finish dead last. If it comes down to it, I'm not above tripping someone.

Thats all the hot goss for now. Here are some excellent photos from VEGAS:

Us at the hotel. Taking pictures of yourself is hard work. I needed a margarita.

Katchie and I working on our poses for the wax museum. Just trying to blend in.

Jana and I's favorite picture.

I took my camera to Vegas and this is the only picture I took with it. Nice work, huh ?
